The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results for candidates who took the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The supplementary UTME was held on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22, 2024.

JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin provided instructions for candidates to check their results: “To check their supplementary UTME results, candidates should send UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they used to generate their profile codes during registration.”

Benjamin explained that the supplementary exam was conducted for 28,835 candidates who were unable to be biometrically verified during the main 2024 UTME or were suspected of examination malpractices but given a second chance to take the test.

A statement from Benjamin read: “The exercise, which recorded significant success nationwide, included heightened security measures to prevent any examination infractions. Some individuals attempting to impersonate legitimate candidates were apprehended and handed over to law enforcement for further investigation and prosecution.”

“The Board will continue to ensure that no candidate benefits from any act of infraction through the use of advanced technology before, during, and after its examinations. Candidates are, therefore, advised to avoid any form of irregularity during their examinations and refrain from soliciting score upgrades or attempting to generate fake result sheets with higher scores.”
