New Pro-Chancellor Vows to Transform Challenges at Dangote University

Hon. Justice Abdu Aboki, the newly appointed Pro-Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, has vowed to turn the institution’s challenges into opportunities through dedicated efforts.

 

In his inaugural address, Justice Aboki highlighted that his appointment marked not just a personal achievement but a pivotal moment in the university’s evolution. He acknowledged that while the path ahead would be difficult, he was confident that with collective support and shared commitment, success was attainable.

“The journey will have its obstacles,” he said, “but with your support and our shared dedication, we will overcome them.”

He further expressed his belief in the university’s potential, saying, “As we work together towards making a positive impact on the university, I have no doubt in the immense capabilities of our students, staff, and the wider community to elevate this institution to new heights.”

 

Justice Aboki called on all stakeholders to unite their strengths and resources, transforming challenges into opportunities that would benefit both Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.

He stressed, “It is crucial that we leave a lasting impact for future generations and help elevate Aliko Dangote University to greater levels of achievement.”

Justice Aboki also thanked the state governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, for entrusting him with this role, noting, “Having spent most of my life in public service, I am honored to continue my service in this new capacity.”

 

Speaking on his vision as Pro-Chancellor, Justice Aboki emphasized the importance of fostering an environment where academic excellence flourishes. He stated that his goal is to ensure students are not only academically prepared but are also inspired to become leaders in their fields.
