Prof. Joseph Alakali has stepped down from his role as Secretary to the Benue State Government. The announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Hyacinth Alia.
According to the statement, Alakali tendered his resignation letter on Monday, citing the need to focus on personal matters.
“Governor Alia, in accepting the resignation, expressed his appreciation for Prof. Alakali’s service over the past year and three months. He wished him well and prayed for strength as he faces the challenges ahead,” the statement read.
