1. Dangote Petroleum and Petrochemicals has lowered the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) petrol from N990 to N970 per litre for marketers. This was disclosed in a press statement by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, on Sunday. The refinery has a daily production capacity of 650,000 barrels.
2. Thirteen people were killed in an attack by suspected herdsmen in the Azege settlement, located in Mbaya, Tombo Ward, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State. The incident, which occurred around 7 a.m. on Sunday, also resulted in arson and significant damage to farmlands and crops.
