1. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Friday criticized governors for requesting the freedom to pay whatever minimum wage they can afford to workers. The NLC argued that allowing states to negotiate their minimum wage is not only dictatorial but also undermines the core principles and model adopted for establishing a national minimum wage in Nigeria.
