Jeamie TKV Challenges Eddie Hearn’s Statement Regarding Dave Allen Bout
Dave Allen, who now faces Arslanbek Makhmudov next weekend, remains on TKV’s radar. The Londoner also dismissed claims made by promoter Eddie Hearn that Ben Shalom, TKV’s promoter, pulled the plug on the Allen fight.
“It wasn’t Ben Shalom. He agreed for me to fight Dave Allen, but the Board decided I should fight Clarke for the title,” he clarified.
The upcoming showdown with Frazer Clarke (9-1-1, 7 KOs) adds another chapter to their long-simmering rivalry, with both fighters seeing this as a pivotal moment in their careers.
“It was definitely going to happen. It was just whoever got in the best position. If Frazer had won the British title, I probably would have fought him anyway,” TKV added.
Asked about his strategy against the Olympic bronze medallist, TKV kept it simple: “Just show up and turn up.”
The fight on October 25 is not just a title bout — it’s a statement fight for both men and a potential launching pad to the next level in their heavyweight journeys.
