Edo Queens to Learn CAF Women’s Champions League Opponents Today

Nigerian champions Edo Queens are set to find out their opponents in the CAF Women’s Champions League today. The draw ceremony will take place at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco.

This will be Edo Queens’ first appearance in the competition, having qualified after winning the WAFU B Women’s title in August. They will be joined by other first-time participants, including Aigles de la Medina (Senegal), University of the Western Cape (South Africa), Tutankhamun (Egypt), and CBE FC (Ethiopia).

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa, Morocco’s AS FAR, and TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo will also be competing. The final tournament is scheduled for November 9 to November 23, 2024.
