57 Hospitalized Due to Mass Food Poisoning at TikTok HQ
Dozens of employees at ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, were hospitalized following a food poisoning outbreak in Singapore.
The incident occurred on Tuesday and affected 60 individuals, who developed symptoms of gastroenteritis. Of these, 57 required hospital treatment.
ByteDance does not prepare or cook food at its offices, relying on third-party caterers to provide meals.
Reports indicated that at least seventeen ambulances were dispatched to ByteDance’s office building in Singapore’s business district to assist those affected.
