Russia and China move away from U.S Dollar
According to report from Sputnik, Russia and China have almost completely ditched the U.S dollar to settle bilateral trade.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says that more than 90% of payments between the two countries are in their national currencies.
“Russian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation are actively developing, despite the persistent attempts of the states of the collective West to put a spoke in the wheels”, says Lavrov.
He asserts that there has been an almost complete de-dollarisation of bilateral economic relations.
“Today, more than 90% of mutual payments have been transferred in our national currencies”, he added.
