‘No Competitors in Comedy’ – Josh2Funny Declares

Renowned comedian Chibuike Josh Alfred, known as Josh2Funny, has addressed the competitive landscape in Nigeria’s comedy and content-creation industry.

He criticized those who claim there is no competition in the field, suggesting they are downplaying the reality. Josh2Funny emphasized that he faces no competition in comedy, noting that his skits are translated into languages such as Mandarin, Hindi, Russian, and French.

Josh2Funny also expressed frustration with some of his peers who imitate his trends and styles without giving him credit. Speaking on ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, he stated, “I won’t tolerate people copying my work without acknowledging me. And don’t be fooled—there is competition in the comedy industry.”

He added, “Currently, my comedy is interpreted in Mandarin, Hindi, Russian, French, and more. I’m not on the same level as anyone else in this industry.”
