Ruger Denies Owing Davido an Apology Amid Alleged Feud

Singer Ruger has addressed rumors of a rift between him and his senior colleague, Davido.

The speculation started after Ruger publicly expressed his admiration for Wizkid and his fans, leading some of Davido’s supporters to accuse him of taking sides in the ongoing rivalry between the two stars.

Recently, a fan on X suggested that Ruger’s career would stagnate unless he issued a public apology to the DMW boss. The fan wrote, “When you’re ready, apologize and beg Davido publicly, your song will hit No. 1.”

Responding to the claim, Ruger questioned, “And did Davido tell you I did anything wrong to him?”

In a follow-up post, Ruger clarified that he has no issues with Davido and believes the feeling is mutual. He stressed that he would never assume there is any conflict unless Davido explicitly said so, either publicly or to him directly.

“I love Davido and I know he loves me too. People on his team still repost my stuff. I will never believe this agenda that he doesn’t f*ck with me except he says it to my face or publicly. But if he does, everyone will know first,” he wrote.
