Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has signed the revised 2025 Appropriation Bill, totaling ₦43 billion, into law following its approval by the State House of Assembly.
The bill was formally presented to the governor on Thursday at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Usman Zuru, accompanied by other members of the legislature.
In addition to the revised budget, the lawmakers submitted the adopted Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) for 2026–2028, which will guide future fiscal planning and implementation.
The Assembly also passed a resolution requesting the renaming of Government Day Secondary School, Tondi Tsamiya, to Sarki Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi Day School, in honour of the Emir of Yauri.
