Police Commence Probe into Death of Benue Woman Found at Abuja Bridge

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has initiated an investigation into the untimely demise of a young woman identified as Kadoon Luisa Iornumbe in Abuja.

Reportedly, Luisa’s lifeless body was found by motorists on the Timper Garage bridge in the Mpape area of the nation’s capital. The tragic event unfolded on Thursday morning as Luisa was en route to her workplace.

Eyewitnesses revealed that Luisa, a native of Benue State, was allegedly a victim of one-chance robbers, who have been causing unrest in the city.

In response to inquiries, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed that the Command was aware of the situation. She stated that the Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, had instructed the DC CID to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the underlying cause of the incident.
