Kebbi State Government Delegation Arrives in Zuru Ahead of Late Emir’s Funeral

An advanced delegation from the Kebbi State Government has arrived in Zuru to prepare for the funeral of the late Emir of Zuru, Major General Muhammad Sani Sami (Rtd), who passed away Saturday night in a London hospital.

Led by Speaker Muhammad Usman Zuru, the delegation includes key commissioners from Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Information and Culture, Health, Works, and Agriculture. The team will oversee burial arrangements and support the Emir’s family during the mourning period.

Governor Nasir Idris, currently abroad, expressed deep sorrow over the loss and has ordered full support for a befitting burial, according to his Special Adviser on Media, Yahaya Sarki.
