Former Olympic goalkeeper Joseph Dosu has admitted that Super Eagles keeper Stanley Nwabali can be overly adventurous, but insists the Rivers United shot-stopper suits head coach Eric Chelle’s style.
Dosu praised Nwabali’s calmness and shot-stopping ability, noting that while his bold approach divides opinion, it aligns with Chelle’s preference for fearless, commanding goalkeepers. He added that Nwabali is now more disciplined than in his NPFL days and remains a strong option for Nigeria, having already kept eight clean sheets at the AFCON.
