Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has urged his players to stay focused as the season enters a crucial stage in the Nigeria National League.
Offor delivered the message after the team’s final training session before travelling to Osogbo for their next league game.
The Promise Keepers will face Osun United in a Matchday 13 clash at the Landeleke Township Stadium on Saturday.
The young tactician stressed that the team must approach every remaining game with a strong winning mentality as they push for a successful finish to the campaign.
According to Offor, the last six matches of the season will be decisive, and the players must avoid complacency while taking their chances whenever they come.
He also noted that the team has not yet achieved its target and must maintain its current momentum by delivering consistent performances.
