Atletico Madrid players gave Ademola Lookman a warm welcome at training on Tuesday.

The squad carried out their traditional initiation ceremony, forming two lines as the Nigerian forward walked onto the training pitch.

Lookman was playfully slapped by his new teammates as part of the customary welcome ritual.

Diego Simeone’s men are currently gearing up for Thursday night’s Copa del Rey quarter-final showdown against Real Betis.

The Super Eagles star will be hoping to make his Atletico Madrid debut in the tie against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Lookman completed his move to the LaLiga club from Atalanta on Monday.
