Coalition: Atiku, David Mark, El-Rufai’s children in PDP, APC – Wike’s aide to Nigerians
Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has criticized the newly formed opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), calling it disingenuous.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Olayinka questioned the credibility of the coalition leaders, accusing them of hypocrisy. He alleged that many of their children are actively involved in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) — the very parties the coalition claims to oppose.
He specifically pointed out that the daughter of ADC interim chairman, Senator David Mark, is currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives on the APC platform. Olayinka also claimed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has a son serving as a commissioner in Adamawa State and another involved in revenue contracts in the same PDP-controlled state.
He further noted that the son of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai is a member of the House of Representatives under the APC.
Mocking the enthusiasm of some supporters of the coalition, Olayinka wrote:
“Daughter of Kolision Chairman, David Mark, is in House of Reps as APC member.
Son of Esu kekere ode of Kolision, El-Rufai is in House of Reps as APC member.
Son of Political Alarinka Agbaye, Atiku Abubakar is a Commissioner in Adamawa State under a PDP Govt. Another one is a major revenue contractor in a PDP State.
Meanwhile, you are on Sosu Media shouting Kolision Kolision Kolision.
Issorite, KONTINU you hear. You will have sense las las.”
Olayinka’s remarks come amid growing public discourse surrounding the opposition coalition’s potential to challenge the current political establishment ahead of the 2027 general elections.
