The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a warning to former United States President Donald Trump, urging him to exercise caution amid fears of another potential assassination attempt.

Speaking to journalists on Saturday in the Oke-Afa area of Lagos State, the prominent cleric cautioned that Trump’s life may again be in danger.

“Trump should be careful about another assassination attempt. Write it down and mark it,” Primate Ayodele stated.

The warning comes in the wake of previous attempts on Trump’s life. In July 2024, Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The would-be assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Mathew Crooks, fired multiple shots at Trump as he addressed supporters from a podium. Trump was unharmed, and Crooks was fatally shot by U.S. Secret Service snipers.

Two months later, in September 2024, another attempt was reportedly foiled by the U.S. Secret Service. According to law enforcement, a suspected gunman was spotted in the bushes near Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida. Agents opened fire on the individual before any harm could occur.

Primate Ayodele’s latest warning adds to growing concerns about Trump’s security as he continues his political engagements ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
