1. The Nigeria Police Force has reinstated the enforcement of the Tinted Glass Permit policy, pending the final outcome of the matter before the courts. According to the police, the move follows a reassessment of rising security concerns and the need to protect lives and property.
2. The Senate has criticised the Federal Government over the implementation of multiple budgets within a single fiscal year, as witnessed in 2025, describing the practice as unacceptable. Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Sani Musa (APC, Niger East), voiced the Senate’s concern on Monday, urging a return to proper budgetary processes from next year.
