TCN Announces Power Outage in Kogi State on Thursday

The Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced a planned power outage in Lokoja and surrounding areas in Kogi State on Thursday. According to a statement by TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, the outage is necessary for maintenance work on 60 megavolt-amperes transformers and switchgear at the Lokoja 330/132/33-kilovolt Transmission Substation.

The blackout is scheduled to last from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this period, Abuja DisCo will be unable to supply electricity to customers in Lokoja Town, CBN, Koton Karfe, and nearby areas. TCN assured that power will be restored immediately after the maintenance is completed.
