Falz Questions Tinubu Over Lack of Arrests After 38 CAC Kwara Worshippers Are Rescued
Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has voiced displeasure over the federal government’s announcement of the rescue of 38 abducted members of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Isegun, Eruku, in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
In a post shared on his X handle on Sunday, Falz demanded answers regarding the fate of the attackers responsible for the abductions. He questioned why there had been no updates on arrests or the neutralisation of the suspects.
“THIS DOES NOT CUT IT. Where are the abductors?? Were they killed? How many arrests were made???” he wrote.
Falz’s reaction came shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the rescue of the 38 worshippers in Kwara, alongside 51 students abducted from a Catholic school in Niger State. The President commended security agencies for the coordinated operations in both states and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property nationwide.
NIGERIA NEWS 247 reports that Nigeria witnessed multiple mass abductions last week across Kebbi, Niger, and Kwara States.
