The Acting Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal-Jobe, has called on the Federal Government to urgently provide comprehensive security assistance to protect residents from escalating violence.

The appeal came on Tuesday in Katsina, following a tragic attack in Unguwan Muntau community, Malumfashi Local Government Area, where 13 worshippers were killed inside a mosque.

Lawal-Jobe stressed the urgent need for immediate presidential intervention to halt the ongoing threats against innocent citizens.
