Six students of the Nigerian Law School have reportedly been abducted by gunmen suspected to be bandits while traveling through Benue State on their way to resume academic activities at the institution’s Yola Campus in Adamawa State. The attack took place on a major highway notorious for frequent armed assaults, raising serious concerns about the safety of students and travelers in the region.

Eyewitnesses reported that the students were traveling in a convoy when the attackers ambushed their vehicle, forcibly taking the victims before fleeing the scene.

Authorities in both Benue and Adamawa states have been notified and are collaborating to secure the safe rescue of the abducted students. Security agencies, including the police and military, have launched search operations with assistance from local vigilante groups.
