Alleged Kidnapper Terrorizing Kogi Communities Apprehended

A notorious kidnapper, identified as Abubakar Ali Damina, who has been causing terror in the people of Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area, has been apprehended.

Damina, aged 43, was captured during a joint security operation at Ofodo village, near Igabada in Kogi State. Originating from Bida in Niger State, the suspect was found in possession of a single-barreled Dane gun along with various suspicious items such as charms, a gun firing cap, and local bullets.

Upon interrogation, Damina allegedly confessed to his involvement in criminal activities within Kogi State. Mohammed Aminu, the Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Departmental Security Officer, confirmed the arrest on behalf of the council boss, Barr. Cosmos Atabor.

The suspect is currently detained at the Kogi State Vigilante Service facility in Igalamela-Odolu and will soon be handed over to the appropriate authorities.
