The Edo State Police Command has ordered the immediate arrest of drivers operating vehicles with tinted windows in the state. Additionally, Commissioner of Police Iwo Nemi has directed the arrest of those using unregistered vehicles or vehicles with obscured license plates.

In a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Moses Yamu, on Wednesday, the commissioner outlined that these measures are part of efforts to curb rising incidents of kidnapping, robbery, and cultism in Edo State.

Nemi emphasized that impounded vehicles would be held, and the law would be enforced strictly, without exception. He urged the public to avoid using such vehicles to prevent arrest, stressing that the law applies equally to everyone.
