FRSC Officer in Osun Injured in Roadblock Incident

A personnel of the Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) was injured in a hit-and-run accident on Friday.

The accident occurred near the Osun Government Secretariat in Abere, along the Gbongan-Osogbo Road, as reported by NIGERIA NEWS 247

The driver of a speeding Lexus Jeep ignored signals from FRSC personnel at a roadblock to stop, hitting one of the officers and dragging him along the road until the victim fell off the vehicle.

Osun FRSC Sector Commander, Inyang Umoh, confirmed the incident and stated that the injured officer is in stable condition. Efforts are underway to apprehend the driver, who has not yet been arrested.
