Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, confirmed on Monday that 26 suspected offenders arrested within the past 24 hours were charged before an Oshodi Magistrate’s Court. The defendants admitted to the offences and received three-month jail terms.

Wahab said the operation demonstrates the government’s zero-tolerance stance toward activities that compromise public safety, misuse public infrastructure, and disrupt order. He added that the enforcement drive would continue statewide to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly Lagos.
