Tijjani explained that the suspects were apprehended following an intelligence report received at the Birnin Kudu Divisional Office. The report indicated that the suspects were seen late last Friday removing electrical and armored cables from an uncompleted building in the area.

He further stated that the suspects are alleged to have been involved in vandalizing infrastructure, orchestrating criminal conspiracies, and committing thefts that have caused significant disruptions in the area’s electricity supply.

The NSCDC spokesman noted that the suspects would be taken to court for prosecution.
