Sanwo-Olu present as family and friend bid farewell to Gboyega, Lagos Deputy Chief of Staff
NIGERIA NEWS 247 gathered that the governor of Lagos state was present in the Service of Songs held by family and friends to honor the memory of the Lagos state Deputy Chief of Staff , Gboyega Soyannwo, who departed on May 15 after a brief illness at the age of 55.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu re-iterated that Gboyega held the role of his Deputy Chief of Staff, as a beacon of unity and strength in his workspace. His unwavering dedication, remarkable problem-solving abilities, loyalty, and irreplaceable contributions were the threads that held us together. His absence leaves a void that mere words cannot fill, Sanwo-Olu said.
He also said: “As we gathered today, we not only mourned his passing but also celebrated the profound impact and enduring legacy he leaves behind. Gboyega’s life was a testament to his commitment to public service, a legacy that will forever inspire and guide us.”
