NIGERIA NEWS 247 reported on Monday that Chiemele, who had been staying in the apartment since May 12, did not come out on June 12. Concerned individuals, including the apartment owner, Adewole Olufemi, looked through his window and saw Chiemele lying motionless on the floor.
Realizing Chiemele was unresponsive, they alerted the police from the Maroko Division. Officers arrived, forced the door open, and confirmed that Chiemele had died. A source, speaking anonymously, confirmed that the body had been taken to the morgue.
