Atiku Reacts to Tinubu’s Slip at Eagles Square, Calls It an ‘Unfortunate Incident’

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has responded to a viral video showing President Bola Tinubu slipping while boarding the presidential parade vehicle at Eagles Square in Abuja.

According to NIGERIA NEWS 247, Tinubu lost his footing momentarily as he approached the vehicle shortly after arriving at the venue for the 2024 Democracy Day celebrations. He quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings, assisted by his security aides.

Sharing the trending video on X.com, Atiku wrote, “I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, #officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope tat all is well with him.”

Nigerians have also taken to social media to react to the video. While some mocked the President, others downplayed the incident, noting that he continued with the ceremonial rounds.
