Breaking: Fire guts Lagos Market

A fire has engulfed a two-storey building at Dosunmu Market in the Lagos Island Local Government Area of Lagos State. The incident took place on Tuesday around 11:10 Am.

Amodu Sjakiru, the Head of Public Education at the Lagos State Fire Service, confirmed the incident to journalists.

He stated that fire service personnel are currently at the scene working to prevent the fire from spreading further. Sjakiru mentioned, “Fire Service personnel are currently on the ground to stop the fire and prevent any further casualties.

The fire affected two-storey buildings. Further details about the fire will be provided soon.” The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
