Breaking: NAFDAC prohibits the sale of Dex Luxury soap in Nigeria.

On Thursday, NAFDAC announced the prohibition of Dex Luxury bar soap sales in Nigeria due to its Butyphenyl Methylpropional (BMHCA) content, as it poses risks to users’ reproductive systems, unborn children’s health, and skin sensitization.

This decision mirrors the European Union’s ban on the product. Although not listed in NAFDAC’s database, caution is advised for importers, distributors, retailers, and consumers to prevent the importation, distribution, sale, and use of Dex Luxury soap.
