On Saturday, protesters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, blocked Governor Siminilaye Fubara’s motorcade, demanding that he address them directly, according to Channels Television.

This demonstration was part of the ongoing Day 3 protests against hunger and poor governance in the Niger Delta Region.

Waving green branches and chanting slogans, the protesters took to the streets, calling for an end to bad governance. Despite their efforts, the governor’s convoy managed to pass by as the rally continued.
