#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Lagos Police Declare All Gatherings Unlawful

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, announced on Sunday that the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest has been banned following President Bola Tinubu’s address to the protesters.

Fayoade informed journalists that, given the President’s speech, all gatherings in the state are now deemed unlawful and illegal.

“The protest has been called off in response to the President’s address. The belief is that since the President has spoken, he will address their demands,” Fayoade said.

He added, “Any further gatherings will be considered illegal and we will enforce the law accordingly.”
