Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the immediate reconstruction of the ‘Yanshana Bridge‘ in Kumbotso Local Government Area, which collapsed three days ago.

The governor made the announcement at the Government House following a peaceful protest by residents of ‘Yanshana’, who sought urgent intervention over the collapsed bridge that has severely disrupted movement and daily activities in the area.

Governor Yusuf assured the protesters that the State Executive Council would formally approve the commencement of reconstruction work at its upcoming meeting on Wednesday.
