Not All Rivers Residents Are Grateful to Tinubu – Annkio Briggs

Human rights activist Annkio Briggs has stated that not everyone in Rivers State shares Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s gratitude toward President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Briggs reacted to the recent suspension of the six-month state of emergency imposed on Rivers State.

Asked whether she felt as thankful to the president as Governor Fubara does, Briggs responded, “Definitely not. I think the president himself knows that not everyone in Rivers State will be eternally grateful to him.”

She also expressed disappointment with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying, “As a stakeholder and elder, I feel very let down by the PDP. Since 1999, we have voted for the party. If they had acted appropriately from the start, the PDP wouldn’t be in the position it is today.”
