Police Highlight Benefits of Joining Force, Appeal to Anambra Indigenes to Apply

The Anambra State Police Command has outlined the benefits of joining the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as it called on eligible indigenes of the state to participate in the ongoing recruitment exercise.

In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police said enlistment into the Force offers Ndi Anambra the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to improved policing, promote unity, and support national development.

According to the statement, a career in the Nigeria Police Force provides a platform for active participation in nation-building through service, discipline, and patriotism.

“Policing is a noble profession anchored on service, discipline, and patriotism. It offers structured career growth, professional training, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on society by safeguarding lives and property,” the statement said.

The Command noted that increased participation of Anambra indigenes in the Force would strengthen community-oriented policing, enhance public trust, and improve security outcomes by fostering a better understanding of the local environment, culture, and people.

It further encouraged eligible citizens to view enlistment into the Police Force as a constructive way to contribute to national conversations on security and governance.

“Active involvement in national institutions is essential for inclusive development and lasting peace,” Ikenga added.
