Tinubu Expresses Sympathy for Flood Victims Nationwide

President Bola Tinubu expressed deep sorrow on Wednesday over the extensive damage caused by floods to communities and farmlands nationwide.

Recent reports from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) reveal significant loss of life, widespread destruction of farmland, and displacement of thousands due to the floods.

The President extended his condolences to the victims, including bereaved families, farmers, displaced communities, and those who have lost property. He stressed the urgent need for a unified effort to tackle environmental challenges and enhance the country’s climate resilience.

In a statement by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu offered prayers for the deceased and assured Nigerians that his administration, through relevant agencies, will continue to support flood victims and provide timely warnings to mitigate the effects of environmental disasters.
