Troops Recover Rifles and Magazines in Borno Military Operation

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have recovered three AK-47 rifles and five magazines during an intelligence-led operation along the Mafa border corridor in Borno State.

The operation, which was confirmed by security analyst Zagazola Makama in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, was a continuation of an earlier engagement with terrorists on August 7, during which several insurgents were neutralized.

According to the report, the recovered weapons are believed to be part of a cache belonging to the terrorist group operating in the region.

Military authorities have commended the troops for the successful operation and urged them to continue prioritizing intelligence-driven missions to maintain pressure on terrorist elements across the North-East theatre.
