Women Voters Played Key Role in Kebbi Elections – Gov. Nasir Idris

Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris, has hailed women as a powerful force in determining electoral outcomes, highlighting their dedication and numerical strength at the polls.

Speaking on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi during a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) women leaders from the state’s 225 wards, Governor Idris called on women of voting age to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise and ensure their voter cards are up to date ahead of future elections.

“Women are trustworthy and persevering. This is your government—please maintain your support and loyalty,” the governor said, assuring that his administration remains committed to prioritizing women’s welfare and empowerment.

Also present at the gathering, APC State Chairman Abubakar Kana Zuru and State Women Leader Hajiya Aisha Gunabi reaffirmed the unwavering support of Kebbi women for the administration.
