BREAKING: Akwa Ibom Commissioner of Police, Waheed Ayilara, Dies

Waheed Ayilara, the Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State, has passed away. He died on Thursday at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja.

According to reports, Ayilara had undergone prostate cancer surgery the previous day. A family member expressed deep sadness, stating, “We are very sad to inform you that our friend, brother, and family member, Commissioner Waheed Ayilara, is no longer with us.”
