Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, Passes Away at 90

Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, has passed away at the age of 90.

According to reports from Vanguard, the monarch died in the early hours of Monday, amid celebrations marking his 90th birthday and the first anniversary of his coronation.

Oba Olakulehin was officially presented with the staff of office by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on July 12, 2024, becoming the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
