APC’s Musa Hassan Yakubu Wins Egume/Dekina State Constituency Bye-Election in Kogi

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has secured victory in the Egume/Dekina State Constituency bye-election held in Kogi State on Saturday.

Professor Emmanuel Onoja Eneche, the Returning Officer, announced Musa Hassan Yakubu of the APC as the winner, having scored a total of 55,073 votes.

Godwin Meliga of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) followed with 1,038 votes, while Egene Joseph Ugbede of the Action Peoples Movement (APM) received 445 votes. Other candidates included Amos Ahaiba of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with 141 votes, Rilwan Mudi of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) with 5 votes, and Yakubu Ugbede of the Action Alliance (AA) who garnered 16 votes.
