Daniel Bwala, former spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has revealed his plans to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement on Wednesday, following a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja, Bwala confirmed his departure from the PDP and his intention to join the APC.

He explained, “Yes, the last time I was here, I was still in PDP. I have officially left PDP and am now planning to join APC. Just as one would carefully plan a wedding, I am making thorough arrangements for my move. It’s important to notify friends, relatives, and well-wishers to be part of this transition. I am on my way to APC, where I believe I truly belong.”

Bwala further noted, “Having been involved with APC for eight years, including supporting President Buhari, I have decided to return after a period of differences. Now, more than ever, it is crucial for the country to unite and progress. While political activities will resume in due course, I am fully committed to President Bola Tinubu and will formally rejoin the APC in the near future.”
