Gunmen Claim Life of PDP Local Government Secretary in Zamfara State

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have tragically ended the life of Musa Ille, the Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The assailants struck in front of his residence during a harrowing incident on Monday night.

Confirming the distressing news, the PDP Chairman in the local government, Garba Garewa, revealed the shocking demise of the party’s secretary in Tsafe to Channels Television on Tuesday. Garewa expressed deep concern over the incident, pointing to bandits as the likely perpetrators.

Abubakar Tsafe, a resident of the area, recounted the chilling events, stating that the gunmen lured Ille outside by beckoning him to inspect something at the rear of his house. Unbeknownst to him, they were armed bandits, ready to inflict harm.

As of now, the police authorities in the state have not issued any statements regarding the tragic incident, leaving the community and party members grieving and seeking justice.
