UFC President Dana White has taken a significant step in expanding his influence in the world of boxing with the announcement of an exclusive multi-year broadcasting deal between Zuffa Boxing and Paramount+.

Formed in March 2025 by TKO Group Holdings in partnership with Sela and backed by Saudi advisor Turki Alalshikh, Zuffa Boxing will debut in January 2026, staging 12 live events annually. The fights will stream exclusively on Paramount+ across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

The deal marks another major media move by Paramount, which recently secured UFC’s U.S. broadcast rights from 2026 in a groundbreaking seven-year, $7.7 billion agreement.

“I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience,” White said in a statement. “Millions of boxing fans will now be able to watch competitive fights featuring both rising talent and the sport’s biggest stars. Paramount will be the home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the greatest fights in combat sports.”

Ambitious Plans for Boxing’s Future

Zuffa Boxing is being spearheaded by White and WWE President Nick Khan, with plans to sign between 400 and 450 fighters — mirroring the UFC’s talent-first strategy. The goal is to build a dynamic new roster that blends established boxers with emerging stars through high-level matchmaking and year-round events.

This move comes on the heels of White’s successful role in promoting the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford super-fight in August, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Backed by Alalshikh and streamed on Netflix, the event drew a global audience of 41.4 million, highlighting the potential reach of elite boxing under a modern promotional model.

“This partnership with Paramount reinforces our vision to redefine the way viewers consume boxing,” said Turki Alalshikh. “We’ve seen the demand. Now, more fans will have access to exciting fights and rising stars. This is the future of boxing coverage, and it will help the sport grow globally.”

What’s Next for Zuffa Boxing?

While the full 2026 schedule has not yet been revealed, early indications suggest that Zuffa Boxing will prioritize competitive, entertaining matchups over spectacle. The intent is to develop fighters organically — similar to the UFC’s long-standing model — rather than relying exclusively on legacy names or one-off crossover events.

Details of the first event are expected in the coming months, with anticipation already building among fans and industry insiders.
