NPFL: Remo Stars to Host Home Games at MKO Abiola Sports Arena
Remo Stars have announced that the Moshood Kashimawo Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta will serve as their temporary home venue for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The club revealed on Monday that their original home ground in Ikenne is currently undergoing renovations ahead of the new campaign.
The Sky Blue Stars are also seeking approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host their Champions League home matches at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Under coach Daniel Ogunmodede, Remo Stars will begin their CAF Champions League campaign next month, facing US Zilimadjou of Comoros.
Last season, Remo Stars clinched their first-ever NPFL title, having finished as runners-up in the two preceding campaigns.
The Ikenne-based club will kick off their league season with a matchday one clash against Rivers United in Abeokuta on Friday.
