Hezbollah Confirms Assassination of Hashim Safieddine

REPORT, NIGERIA NEWS 247 – Hezbollah has released a full statement concerning the assassination of Hashim Safieddine. It reads as below:

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised God. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow, and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they have not changed [their commitment] in the least.”

God Almighty has spoken the truth.

We grieve alongside the nation of martyrs and mujahideen, the steadfast nation of resistance and victory, as we honor a remarkable leader and a revered martyr who dedicated his life to the cause of Jerusalem: the esteemed head of the Executive Council in Hezbollah, His Eminence Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

May God Almighty grant him eternal peace. He ascended to his Lord surrounded by his noble Mujahid brothers, leaving this world satisfied, content, patient, and hopeful, after enduring a ruthless and aggressive Zionist assault.

Sayyed Hashem joins his brother, the most honored and cherished martyr, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who stood by him as a beacon of support, much like Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon him, was to his brother Imam al-Hussein, peace be upon him.

Sayyed Hashem was more than just a brother; he was a steadfast supporter and a standard-bearer of faith, a source of trust in difficult times, and a reliable figure amid adversity. Throughout his life, he embodied the spirit of the Badris, tirelessly upholding the tenets of God’s religion with piety and righteousness.

As a pioneering leader, he managed and directed various initiatives within Hezbollah, displaying remarkable dedication to the Islamic Resistance and the community it serves. He worked closely with fighters and remained devoted to the families of martyrs, fostering a deep bond with those who have sacrificed so much for our shared cause. His long and honorable life culminated in his martyrdom, aligning him with the luminous legacy of Karbala.

In this moment of sorrow, we extend our deepest condolences to the Master of the Age and Time (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance), to His Eminence the Guardian of the Muslims (may Allah protect him), to the esteemed seminaries across the Islamic world, to his brothers in the Islamic Resistance, and to his brave, patient, and steadfast family. We implore Allah Almighty to grant them beautiful patience and reward them both in this world and the hereafter.

We vow to our great martyr and his martyred brothers that we will steadfastly continue the path of resistance and jihad, unwavering in our pursuit of freedom and victory.
